A leading maintenance service provider in Coventry is looking for a skilled Electrician to join their Response Maintenance business. In this role, you will carry out electrical repairs within social housing, focusing on health and safety and exceptional customer service. Candidates should possess NVQ level 3 as an Electrician and have a passion for making a positive difference in residents' homes. You’ll specialise in carrying out Responsive Maintenance Repairs to our reputable retirement living & social housing clients.

The Electrician role:

We’re committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported, therefore Health and Safety is paramount throughout the responsibilities of this role, for you, us, and the customer.

  • Undertaking electrical repairs and maintenance work within a social housing domestic setting, with occasional electrical testing requirements.
  • Attending reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, and on occasions planned refurbishment jobs (within void properties).
  • Working in a domestic environment; you enjoy working with people, whether as part of a team, or with the residents.
  • Emergency call out will be expected, on a rota basis.
What you will bring as an Electrician:
  • Qualified to an NVQ level 3 as an Electrician, or similar professional body (e.g., City & Guilds), with 18th Edition certificate and AM2.
  • Test and Inspect qualification desirable.
  • Ideally experience of working within a domestic / social housing environment, or relevant response environment experience (albeit not essential).
  • Having a passion for making a difference to peoples homes, you have strong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people.
  • Driving licence, with eligibility to drive in the UK.
