Job summary

Job description

Position: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Preston
Type: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of all electrical works across residential schemes. This key role involves overseeing electrical safety, fire alarm and detection systems, PAT compliance, and ensuring high standards of work across all inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Electrical Manager in delivering all electrical works on site
• Take responsibility for electrical safety, fire alarm/detection systems, and PAT compliance
• Conduct regular QS inspections on completed EICRs, ensuring remedial works are logged and delivered to a high standard
• Maintain clear communication with regulatory bodies and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical standards and legislation

Requirements:

• Experience as a QS for NICEIC or equivalent scheme provider
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation / Maintenance, including AM2
• City & Guilds 2391 (Initial & Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing) OR willingness to achieve on appointment
• Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installation BS7671 (18th Edition)
• Strong knowledge of electrical compliance, inspection, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
