Contract Electrical Supervisor - Healthcare Construction Project

Connect Grp UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a reputable M&E company for an experienced Electrical Supervisor. This contract role based in Bexhill, East Sussex, offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a background in commercial electrical installations to oversee the electrical fit-out of a new medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of healthcare sector standards, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within set timeframes.

Key Requirements

• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
• ECS Black Managers Card (or equivalent supervisory card)
• First Aid at Work certification (current)
• Minimum 3-5 years’ proven experience supervising commercial electrical installations
• Strong understanding of construction H&S requirements, site management, and electrical drawings

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the electrical installation team on-site, ensuring timely and safe delivery
• Plan daily work schedules aligned with project milestones, complying with healthcare regulations and BS7671 (18th Edition)
• Maintain effective communication with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and contractors for seamless project progression
• Conduct toolbox talks and uphold high safety and quality standards throughout the project
• Oversee material requisitions, delivery coordination, site inspections, snagging, and defect rectification to ensure project completion to specification
