Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor.
• Proven experience with electrical packages on commercial or industrial projects.
• Valid ECS Black Card, SSSTS, and Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

Electrical Site Manager

We’re working on a commercial new build market hall project and require an experienced Electrical Site Manager on a freelance basis. The role involves managing and coordinating all electrical works on site, ensuring standards, safety, programme, and quality are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site electrical trades, including electricians and subcontractors
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and design information, ensuring all works comply
• Carry out regular inspections and quality checks of electrical installations
• Coordinate daily with other trade managers, the project manager, and the site manager
• Enforce all health & safety requirements : ensure RAMS are in place, PPE compliance, and safe systems of work
• Review and oversee test sheets, inspection records, and commissioning documentation
• Monitor progress against programme, identify delays / risks, and escape where required
• Lead snagging, manage defect resolution, and support preparation of handover documents
• Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports, timesheets, material records, and site documentation

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor
• Proven experience managing electrical packages on commercial new build or industrial projects
• Valid ECS Black Card
• SSSTS
• Full UK Driving Licence
