Overview

Field-Based Electrical Engineer

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate (Mon-Sat) and 2x hourly rate (Sundays)

Benefits: Company vehicle provided + overtime pay + standard benefits package

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, repair and service generators.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on generator systems and associated equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct load testing, control panel wiring, and system upgrades.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on-site.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Adhere to all relevant health & safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of electrical control systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
