Job description

As an Electrical Senior Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will supervise complex aircraft maintenance tasks, working independently to approved technical data, and ensuring compliance with our Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE). Day-to-day, you'll have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Specify independent inspections and act as Senior Supervisor/Team Leader when required.
  • Review aircraft component performance, diagnose faults, and apply solutions or recommend improvements.
  • Ensure maintenance schedules are met, resolving issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain personal and team competencies for aircraft/component tasks.
  • Support compliance with MOE and Functionally Mandated Procedures (e.g., oversight checks, tooling/test equipment control).
  • Receive on-the-job training and keep personal logbook updated for currency and recency.

This role is full time working 36 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Valley, Anglesey.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, fully competent with all required authorities in place.
  • Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent.
  • Minimum qualification: City & Guilds 2675 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 in an aeronautical‑related discipline.
  • Aircraft platform training specific to operational requirements.
  • Training in Quality and Air Safety Management Systems to ensure compliance and safety standards.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
