Qualifications

  • Experience in the Building Services Sector as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Site Manager, MEP Manager, or M&E Manager.
  • Industry recognized trade or professional electrical qualification.
  • Specific experience on high value mechanical building service projects (£10m).

Scope includes the Project Management, Coordination, Installation and commissioning of large scale lighting, power & specialist electrical systems retrofit for a large hospital/healthcare facility. Value of initial client/project £10M+ in value. More specifically:

  • Participate in pre-commencement activities to maximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability
  • Review the project scope of works to ensure precise provision of the customer’s requirements
  • Lead the identification of project risks and opportunities, and take responsibility to mitigate or enhance those in your control
  • Ensure engineering solutions are procured and delivered to financial and commercial objectives.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on site progress to the Project Manager and Commercial Lead
  • Manage any sub-contract resource if applicable.
  • Provide leadership to project team members within your area of control, maximising performance and ensuring objectives are met.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Ensure project is closed out in accordance with customer requirements, maximising project profitability

You will have

To be successful as a Electrical Projects Engineer, you will have experience working within the Building Services Sector as a Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Site Manager, MEP Manager or M&E Manager. Plus a healthy mix of the following:

  • Industry recognised trade or professional electrical qualification
  • Specific experience on high value mechanical building service projects (£10m)
