Electrical Planner

Location: Warton Based

Rate: £34.99 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35

Contract Duration: 9 Months initially

This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Warton. The role requires working 4 days on-site per week.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical planning, supporting aircraft programme scope development, and translating design information such as CAD models, BOM, circuit drawings, and manufacturing specifications into processes supporting Loom Assembly / End Make data and installation, ensuring the original design intent is maintained.

Responsibilities include generating manufacturing build instructions using SAPCAMS or equivalent tools, supporting aircraft build including electrical looms, components, amalgamations, racks, panels, and assemblies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Educated to HNC level or completed a Craft/Technician Apprenticeship in Electrical Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of work content/toolsets such as Loom Manufacture, Loom Installation, Wire Testing, PLM Toolsets (preferably Team Centre 14), CAD data manipulation (NX/Catia), and Wiring Diagrams.
• Skills in problem-solving, schedule adherence, team working, build liaison, and synthesising project information for stakeholders.
