Job description

Yourconstruction are delighted to be working with a large and successful FM Company based in Manchester, we are looking for an Electrical Technical Manager to join this group over in Belfast covering the projects they have over there, it will all be local work to Northern Ireland with occasional travel to the other head offices in England.

The Role

Technical Manager - Electrical

Reports to

Operations Director

Based

Northern Ireland – Belfast

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

The role will work across all sectors including public health and education & private including retail and production.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 0800-1700. Friday 0800-1430

(As would be expected working hours are subject to change in line with business requirements)

Duties
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers to deliver best in industry service along whilst maintaining an agreed company profit level
  • Work to tight budgets and timeframes for project completions.
  • QS electrical certificates and prepare quotations for remedial works
  • Hold regular meetings with clients to discuss progress of site work
  • Quote small project works
  • Occasional travel to our other offices in England and Scotland to train other staff members
  • Occasional on site works when required
Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Electrical NVQ level 3 or higher
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience in inspection and testing commercial properties
  • Proven experience working on NICEIC & RECI accreditations and standards
  • Previous Experience in line managing a team of electricians
  • Extensive experience in QS'ing testing certificates
  • Extensive Experience of pricing electrical works to include testing and small projects c30K and below.
  • Access NI check or be able to pass one due to clients we work with.
