Job description
Overview

Morgan Hunt currently require an Electrical Engineer/Electrical Bias for NHS based in Hertfordshire.

Pay Rate: £20ph to £24ph Ltd – Weekdays; £26ph to £31.20ph Ltd Sat All Day; £30ph to £36ph Ltd Sun All Day

Hours: 37.5 hrs, shifts times between 06:00am to 19:00pm, rota plus on call

Location: Hertfordshire

Duration: 6 months on going contract

The candidate should have a current driving license and be prepared to use his/her vehicle for commuting between various hospital sites. A mileage allowance will be paid for this facility.

Job Duties
  • The candidate appointed shall be a technician with an electrical background and will conduct, with minimum supervision, maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant, and equipment throughout the NHS Trust.
  • They will provide technical engineering advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric, and utility services for the trust.
Qualifications / Training
  • NVQ Level 3
  • City and Guilds Level 3 in inspection and testing of electrical installations
  • 18th Edition
  • First Aid
  • Health and Safety qualification/ certification. E.g. (Risk assessment training)

Previous Experience
  • Working in the Healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of HTM 06.02 (D)
  • Experience of working within a team and own initiative
  • Experience of working in a demanding environment with many, sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repair
Skills
  • A positive and initiative-taking attitude to manage a high volume of work and ability to problem solve
  • Computer literate to include Word / Excel / Outlook / Power Point
