Electrical Engineer (Commissioning/ Testing)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (OTE 70-90k) + 6-12 Months Training & Development Programme + Specialist Bespoke Project Work + 33 Days Holiday + International Travel Required + WPA/Bupa Health Insurance + Pension

Location: Commutable from Newton Abbot, Exeter, Heathfield, Ivybridge, Torquay, Chagford, Chudleigh, Dawlish, Totnes, Ashburton

Are you an Electrical Engineer with a background in compressors, gas turbines, generators, diesel plants or associated equipment, looking to join a globally renowned bespoke machinery manufacturer that will provide thorough technical training and opportunities to work with service specialists to develop your skills with the potential to increase earnings while travelling to multiple customer sites?

This role is autonomous and involves overseeing testing, commissioning and project-related works on specialist machinery with frequent travel across Europe and occasional global travel, while receiving technical training to become a company expert.

The company designs, modifies, maintains and manufactures specialist, bespoke and high-end power generation products. It is a multinational market leader committed to technical excellence and premium service.

The role will suit an Electrical Field Service Engineer with experience in compressors, gas turbines, diesel plants, generators or PLC systems who is seeking an autonomous position with regular European travel and occasional global travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commissioning, testing and project-related works on specialist machinery.
• Regular stays away within Europe and occasional longer stays globally; expected travel ~50% of the time (1 night to several weeks).
• Receive excellent technical training to become the company’s go-to technical specialist.
• During travel, meals and accommodation are provided, with travel bonuses that vary by region to boost earnings.
