Overview

Electrical Engineer - Maintenance/ Installation

Location: Wigan

Shift Pattern: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6am

Early finish Fridays

Up to 48k Basic salary + Unlimited overtime + Generous package

Job Purpose: Due to year on year growth and site expansion, a market leader in the building products industry are seeking two proactive electrical maintenance engineers to minimise downtime, assist with planned maintenance and continuous improvement across site.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Facilities Maintenance Engineers are responsible for implementing preventive maintenance programs. This includes regular inspections and servicing of equipment, systems, and structures to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
• System Upgrades and Improvements: Part of the role involves assessing the current systems and identifying opportunities for upgrades or improvements. This could include energy efficiency projects, modernization of equipment, or implementing new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Do you have an Electrical qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or BTEC?
• Practical experience of working in a manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance position?
• Ideally you will have 18th edition, 2391 inspection or CSCS Gold Card.
