Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with recognised electrical qualifications.
• Gold CSCS/ECS card and 18th Edition certification (BS 7671).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience across industrial, commercial, or domestic electrical projects.
• 2391 Test & Inspection and/or SSSTS / SMSTS certification is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding, testing, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, inspection, and fault finding in line with 18th Edition and IEE regulations.

• Liaise with site managers, project teams, and clients to ensure safe and efficient installations.
• Work on a field-based basis across Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorest and surrounding areas.

Electrical Engineer / Electrician required to join a leading M&E (mechanical & electrical) installation company.

The role is field-based, covering Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorest and surrounding areas, and involves installation, maintenance, testing and fault finding across a range of industrial, commercial, and domestic projects. The position has a strong focus on supporting HVAC systems, controls, and renewable technologies, working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality electrical installations.
