Overview

Electrical Engineer

Contract - 3 months

Rate - £34-£35 umbrella rate - depending on experience.

Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Electrical Technician to join the facilities management team, this role involves performing routine reactive and preventative maintenance across multiple building systems including electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry, and fabric repairs. You will work collaboratively with the on-site facilities team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional customer service within client sites.

Responsibilities
  • Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment such as UPS, CRAC units, generators, BMS, power distribution systems, air conditioning, fire alarm, water protection, and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with HSE and statutory requirements.
  • Supervise vendor maintenance work.
  • Provide first-line fixes for electrical and plumbing issues.
  • Perform fabric repairs and conduct quality audits.
  • Manage tasks through internal systems to meet KPIs and SLAs.

The role requires flexibility to work shifts over a 5-day week, including occasional weekends.
