Job description

Responsible for repairs, servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, cluding Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, and general site facilities tasks. In addition to these day-to-day duties the role will be allocated specific improvement projects with focus on manufacturing continuous improvement projects/Tasks.

We require a multi-skilled electrical and engineering Technician (Electromechanical) who can complete both electrical and mechanical jobs across a wide range of manufacturers machines to fault diagnose, repair, complete preventative servicing and other general site facilities tasks.

The successful candidate must have:
  • A recognised industrial Electrical qualification. As well as training and qualification to IEE 18th edition preferable.
  • Have experience working as an Industrial Electrical Shift Engineer. Any experience in the printing industry would be preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working on drives and PCB’s.
  • Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
  • Ability to work solo as an Electromechanical Engineer diagnosing, repairing and performing servicing tasks which are both electrical and mechanical.
  • Competent to operate a lathe.
  • Have good communication, organisational and team work skills. Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determined.
