Qualifications

  • Proven experience in electrical design for automation and control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems.

Job description

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical designs, including calculations, specifications, and comprehensive drawings, using EPLAN and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients and interpret their requirements to provide engineering solutions and costed, documented proposals; produce design specifications as required.
  • Provide electrical engineering support by critically reviewing design submissions to ensure technical standards are met.
  • Ensure projects are fit for purpose and adhere to budget and schedule constraints.
  • Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed, particularly for Control & LV Electrical Switchgear Panels and Cabling Installations.
  • Manage electrical engineering designs and provide supporting technical and commissioning services.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in electrical design for automation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
