Electrical Construction Manager (LVAP) Building Services | London

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Travel Allowance + Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare

As an Electrical Construction Manager (LVAP), you will take on the dedicated LVAP responsibilities throughout the services construction phase of the project. You will also operate as a roaming LVAP during the pre‑construction phase, overseeing temporary electrical installations. This role demands full compliance with the Safe System of Work (SSOW), including the Electrical Safety Plan, and requires complete ownership of all associated duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all electrical site works alongside wider site operations, ensuring correct processes are followed when energising electrical systems.
  • Take a proactive approach to health and safety management across the site.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team, contractors, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
  • Plan and manage daily site activities to ensure safe, efficient progress.
  • Assist subcontractors with preparing RAMS, ITPs, permits, consents, and other necessary documentation, and ensure adherence to these requirements.
About You
  • Demonstrable experience carrying out LVAP duties on construction projects.
  • Formal health and safety qualifications, with SMSTS as a minimum.
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in testing and commissioning full electrical installations.
  • Completed LVAP training and a commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date certification.
  • Safety‑critical worker assessment and valid First Aid training.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and at least 5 years of practical industry experience.
