Educational Psychologist - Macclesfield (Hybrid)

We're partnering with a Local Authority in the Macclesfield area to recruit experienced Educational Psychologists to support statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).

The Role
  • Provide high-quality psychological advice as part of the EHCP process
  • Complete statutory assessments (allocated 2 working days per case)
  • Work flexibly - hybrid options available
What You'll Be Doing
  • Carry out psychological assessments to identify learning and wellbeing needs
  • Write clear, child-centred statutory advice for EHCNAs
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and professionals
  • Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and learning difficulties
  • Provide training and consultation for education staff
What We're Looking For
  • Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational settings
Pay & Benefits
  • 600+ per day (Ltd)
  • Full-time or part-time Term-time only
  • Hybrid working (in-person preferred, remote considered under AEP guidance)
  • Based in Macclesfield, SK11
