Overview

We are excited to invite applications for the position of Education Facilitator within our dynamic Theatre team. This role supports Healthcare Support Workers, apprentices, student nurses, ODPs, and new team members to build their skills and knowledge, ensuring excellent patient care. You will plan, deliver, and evaluate training programmes designed to meet the diverse learning needs of our clinical workforce, and work with professional groups and stakeholders within the Trust and externally to ensure high-quality training aligned with the Trust's vision and values.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate education programmes for the operating department and broader clinical teams.
  • Provide mentorship, clinical supervision, and direct support to staff to develop competencies for high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and deliver induction programmes and tailored learning plans; deliver specialty training for all staff in the operating department.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Leads, Education Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth running of education programmes.
  • Assist in developing long-term work plans, participate in educational meetings/forums, and evaluate training activities to continuously improve effectiveness.
