eCommerce Business Analyst required to join the eCom team aligned with Business Change to support our client's Product Owner and cross-functional delivery team. The role involves clarifying the business and customer value of initiatives within the roadmap/backlog and creating detailed user stories to specify deliverables.

Our client, an exciting commercial company headquartered on the outskirts of Liverpool, offers a package including a salary up to £55K, bonus, and benefits. The company is conveniently located near Cheshire, Merseyside, and Manchester.

eCommerce Business Analyst - Key Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with software development, testing (System, Unit, Integration, Interface)
  • Experience with eCommerce systems and trading activities
  • Understanding of data modelling
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, written, verbal)
  • Experience working with Agile practices
  • Ideally, experience in marketing and retail activities

The role also involves managing business process changes related to customer journey updates, working with stakeholders to embed these changes effectively. Additionally, the analyst will build business/investment cases. Experience in online, fashion, retail, or omni-channel environments is advantageous.

Role responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and subject matter experts to define requirements (user stories)
  • Work with QA and delivery teams to validate acceptance criteria, modify requirements, and participate in planning sessions
  • Coordinate with other teams to understand and define end-to-end or integration requirements across systems
  • Own requirements, facilitate workshops, and present stories and journeys
