Overview

We are working with an independent Ecological consultancy firm who are looking to grow their Ecology team in the Midlands by appointing an Ecologist or Senior Ecologist.

Working with a highly successful Ecology team you will be responsible for providing a range of Ecological advice to various clients including landowners, housebuilders, commercial developers and investors.

Responsibilities

The role will involve a variety of office and ecology fieldwork including organising and carrying out surveys, desk studies, protected species surveys (newts, bats, badgers), Ecological Clerk of Works duties, and producing / contributing to client reports. On a wider basis you will help to mentor Graduates in the team and contribute to the growth of the service.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience working as Ecologist, ideally as part of consultancy team. You will need a full driving licence and ideally be working towards CIEEM membership.

Location & Benefits

Birmingham or Worcester office base. Mainly REMOTE working.
