About our Nursery

Busy Bees Day Nursery at Bristol Barrs Court, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 116 children aged 0.2 to 5.11 years and is part of the Busy Bees chain. Located at Stoneleigh Drive, Barrs Court, Oldland, South West BS30 7EJ, our nursery is in South Gloucestershire, near Bristol. The suburban setting provides easy access to nearby residential communities for families commuting to and from work. Complimentary lunches for our children are also provided.

What to expect as an Early Years Teacher
  • Lead planning and delivery with your expert knowledge of the EYFS framework and age-appropriate activities in line with the early years curriculum
  • Take ownership of observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps
  • Mentor and guide team members, contributing to curriculum development
  • Take on the role of Key Person, maintaining relationships with families and supporting parents with SEND/ASL needs
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that supports children’s emotional and social development
  • Encourage and acknowledge children’s development and achievements
Ideal Candidate
  • Hold QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualification
  • Extensive experience in an early years setting (ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher)
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to lead our education team
