Job summary

A leading childcare provider is seeking a part-time Early Years Practitioner for their Poppetts Nursery in Shenfield, Essex. This role offers a salary starting at £28,392 pro-rata for 17.5 hours a week during term time. As part of this role, you will plan and implement engaging activities to support children's development in a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and a passion for inclusive education.

We are looking for a part-time, term-time-only After School club, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Poppetts nursery. This position is term time only for 17.5 hours per week working from 7:30am - 1pm or 2:30pm – 6:30pm.

Conveniently located next to Long Ridings Primary School and just a 5-minute walk from Shenfield Station (Elizabeth Line), Poppetts offers a warm, engaging environment for young learners.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
