Location: Large Nursery, York
Contract: 6-Month Block Placement
Hours: Part-Time & Full-Time Options Available

About the Role

Veritas Education Recruitment is proud to be supporting our client, a large and vibrant nursery in York, in their search for dedicated Supply Early Years Practitioners. We are seeking passionate individuals with either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education who are confident working across the 0-5 age range.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing environment where children thrive through play, exploration, and high-quality early years provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children's learning and development milestones across all areas
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents to promote positive outcomes
  • Adapt to different rooms and age groups, from babies to preschool
Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Confidence working with children aged 0-5
  • Strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and EYFS curriculum
  • Reliability, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting young learners
  • Legal right to work in the UK
