Position

Early Years Practitioner

We are currently looking for a Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 or above Early year’s practitioner to work at our lovely Nursery in Dunchurch. Working 4 full days 8am till 6pm with one full day off per week. 51 weeks a year (We close for a week at Christmas for Family time).

You must have a minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare with experience and a love of working with children 9 months to 3 year olds.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment where all our little ones feel safe and happy.
  • Contribute towards planning stimulating activities suitable to the individual needs of the children in your care. Your ideas will be valued and listened to.
  • Work alongside the Room leaders and the team to ensure that the philosophy behind The Rugby Montessori Nursery School is fulfilled and all our children have a happy experience whilst with us.
  • Help with the day-to-day running of the room, including setting up activities and tidying.
  • Prepare bottles, snacks, drinks and tea in line with our policies.
  • Maintain hygiene standards following our policies and procedures.
  • Work as a key person for a group of children, observing and documenting their learning and making sure they reach their development goals.
  • Follow all nursery policies and procedures.
  • Ensure children are kept safe following our Safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • To liaise with parents and carers (Parents as Partners) and other childcare professionals ensuring that the children's daily routines and developmental needs are met.
  • To help with the smooth and efficient running of the room and nursery.
Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for an Early Years Educator/ Nursery Nurse who is a qualified level 2, 3 or above in Childcare and has a passion for working with children.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The wage will depend on your experience and qualifications and can be discussed at interview.
