Job summary

⭐ EAL Teaching Assistant – Primary (English as an Additional Language)

Full time or part time
£89 to £95 per day

If you’re great at breaking down language barriers and helping pupils feel understood, this role’s for you. We’re working with primary schools who need supportive EAL TAs to help pupils settle in, feel included, and thrive in the classroom.

What the role involves:
  • Supporting pupils new to English
  • Helping develop vocabulary, confidence, and classroom routines
  • Running small-group language activities
  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams
You’ll shine if you:
  • Are patient, friendly, and clear in your communication
  • Have experience with EAL, ESOL, or multilingual pupils
  • Build trust quickly
  • Can get around BS3 and BS13 easily
