The Privy Purse and Treasurer’s Office is one of the five Royal Household departments and is made up of core business functions such as Finance, Digital, Sustainability, Property and HR. The Deputy Treasurer to The King and the Finance Director both play pivotal roles in overseeing the strategic leadership of the Royal Household’s resources.

As the Executive Assistant, you'll provide pro-active and wide-ranging support to ensure the smooth operation of these key roles.

Key responsibilities
  • Executive Assistance and Diary Management: You’ll provide full executive assistant support, prioritising and managing multiple requests, complex diary management, meeting and briefing organisation, travel arrangements, drafting and managing correspondence, as well as report preparation and collation.
  • Meeting and Committee Support: You’ll manage forward looks and schedule meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes, as well as helping to prepare presentations and papers for meetings chaired or attended by the Deputy Treasurer or Finance Director.
  • Stakeholder Communications and Correspondence: With exposure across the organisation, you’ll liaise daily with colleagues at all levels and build effective working relationships with a range of external organisations to co-ordinate activities and be a point of contact for varied queries.
  • Administrative Support: Working with internal counterparts, you’ll assist with central administration, strategic reports and annual reviews, as well as seamlessly managing visitor access, invoicing and other day-to-day requirements.
About you
  • You’ll have proven experience as an Executive Assistant at a senior level, preferably within a Finance or corporate services function.
  • Skilled in managing complex diaries for multiple individuals concurrently, with the ability to use initiative to arrange and rearrange meetings based on priority.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at managing and prioritising a diverse workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently and effectively with individuals at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Digitally literate and with excellent written communication skills, you can draft a variety of documents and correspondence accurately.
  • With good judgement and pro-activity, you'll be comfortable working with minimal direction, pre-empting situations, and making informed decisions on the back of this.
