Position Overview

Due to the rapid growth of our E-Commerce business, we are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Executive to grow our sales across online marketplaces and retailer ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Direct To Consumer online sales via third party websites, digital marketing strategies, and consumer behaviour. You will be responsible for driving online revenue growth, optimizing the user experience, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance our e-commerce presence.

You will be responsible for maximising product performance, implementing effective marketplace strategies and driving sales across both our D2C and B2B customers platforms. Working with the wider Swedencare team, you will manage promotional activity, advertising, and sales and forecasting. This role will suit someone who is commercially minded and results driven! The role requires someone who is analytical and understands the need for attention to detail. There is a high degree of autonomy, and although you will be working as part of a wider team, you will be the main influence of how you choose to drive sales on those channels.

Responsibilities
  • Drive profitability and growth across our online marketplaces and B2B customers (excluding Amazon), with a focus on strategy, sales, merchandising and promotions.
  • Optimise product listings to increase sales conversion and maximise revenue.
  • Working with the marketing team to ensure the accuracy of product listing and copy optimisation.
  • Run promotional campaigns to drive traffic, conversion, and sales.
  • Regular reporting on sales and forecasting - using insights to optimise strategies.
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve the Swedencare portfolio of brands for customers and implementing changes with the team.
  • Manage and optimize the overall marketplace presence in alignment with the company's brand strategy.
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess marketplace performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of marketplace management, including manually entering product listings, pricing, and promotions.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end process, from product upload to order fulfilment, to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketplaces to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Oversee product merchandising, pricing, and inventory management to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty, including personalized marketing initiatives and customer service enhancements.
  • Represent the company at Trade & Professional Expo’s
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in a similar role and growing sales on eBay and other online marketplaces essential.
  • Highly commercial, with the ability to turn sales reports into tangible insights.
  • Confident using advertising consoles on D2C platforms.
  • Ideally a minimum of 12 months experience in managing marketplaces such as eBay, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving growth targets in a marketplace environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data. (Strong Excel skills advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Hours Of Work

Monday to Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-4 office based with car parking on site.
