Job summary

A leading defence contractor is seeking a DV-cleared Infrastructure Engineer in Hemel Hempstead to design and maintain secure on-premise IT infrastructure. The role includes delivering Windows Server OS upgrades, managing SAN storage solutions, and implementing VMware virtualisation. Applicants must have experience in secure Defence environments, a strong grasp of Microsoft technologies, and mandatory active DV clearance. This is a hands-on contract role requiring on-site attendance to meet security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience delivering infrastructure solutions in secure Defence or National Security environments.
• Proven experience with Windows Server & Desktop, Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy, and VMware virtualisation.
• Active UKSV DV clearance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, integrate, test, and maintain secure IT infrastructure solutions.
• Deliver Windows Server OS and Active Directory upgrades and migrations.
• Implement, configure, and upgrade SAN storage solutions.
• Deploy and manage VMware virtualisation infrastructure.
