A leading utilities and green energy firm in the UK is seeking qualified Dual Fuel Engineers to install and maintain smart meters. The successful candidates will ensure compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have relevant gas and electrical qualifications, along with a full UK driving licence. We are seeking qualified and experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to join our expanding energy services team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe installation, exchange, and maintenance of smart meters in domestic properties, helping customers improve their energy efficiency while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
Install, exchange, and maintain both gas and electric smart meters.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry regulations and company procedures.
Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining the functionality and benefits of smart metering equipment.
Record all job information accurately and maintain compliance documentation.
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times while working independently in the field.
Gas qualifications: MET1 and CMA1 or CCN1.
Electrical qualifications: MOCOPA 1a and 1c.
Experience: Minimum 6 months’ experience in dual fuel smart meter installations.
Driving licence: Full UK driving licence required.
Experience in three-phase or single off‑multi installations is desirable but not essential.
Base salary: £39,140 per annum.
Monthly performance bonus: £300–£500.
