Job summary

A community care center in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate and reliable Driver to transport clients to and from their homes. Driver - Nirvana Day Centre - Fridays


Location: Client pick-ups in Slough/Maidenhead | Drop-off at Nirvana Day Centre, 12 Mandarin Way, UB4 9TU.


Working Hours: Friday: BOTH SHIFTS TO BE COMPLETED EACH DAY



  • Morning Shift: 8:15 AM - 10:00 AM.

  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 4.45 PM.



About Us

Nirvana Day Centre provides a warm, inclusive, and supportive space for adults in need of daytime care and companionship. We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to safely transport our clients each day.



Key Responsibilities


  • Complete up to 4 pick-ups daily in Slough/Maidenhead.

  • Transport clients from their homes to the centre in the morning, and return them in the afternoon.

  • Assist clients in and out of the vehicle as needed.

  • Some clients have dementia and so ensure child lock is used in the car.

  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.

  • Ensure punctual and smooth journeys.

  • Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and staff.

  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.



Requirements


  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Use of your own reliable vehicle (petrol allowance provided).

  • Previous experience with elderly or vulnerable adults is a bonus.

  • Friendly, patient, punctual, and dependable.
