Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers' drains
• Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
• Carrying out surveys
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
• Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
• Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four‑variable according to business needs

Qualifications / Experience

• High pressure water jetting experience
• Surveying experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial drainage
• Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
• Have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
• Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
• Be willing to work some unsociable hours
• Full UK driving licence
• Must live in the Devon area
• Metro Rod work with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors
