Our client is a brand new domiciliary care company dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care services to individuals in their own homes. They are looking for a passionate and experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to help establish and grow a new service in the Reading area.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care services, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of care staff, ensuring they are supported and motivated.
- Conduct assessments and create personalized care plans for clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Monitor and review care plans regularly to ensure they remain appropriate and effective.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, including CQC standards.
- Liaise with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Manage the scheduling and rostering of care staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Handle complaints and incidents, ensuring they are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care activities and client information.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and expand the client base.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the domiciliary care sector.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to create and implement effective care plans.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent).
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:
- Experience in a start-up or new business environment.
- Knowledge of the local area and community resources in Reading.
