A new opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant to join the Medirest family. We are looking for dedicated team members to deliver outstanding cleaning services for patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in infection control, helping to keep the hospital operational. Your work will directly contribute to the hospital's ability to provide life-changing medical services. This isn't just any cleaning job; it's a role that makes a real difference.

Shift patterns are variable, including:

• Dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
• Cleaning wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas.
• Maintaining and emptying rubbish bins.
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe by following policies and procedures.
• Using equipment safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and qualities we value include:

• A passion for patient care and effective communication with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
• The ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team, with flexibility.
• Confidence working in a hospital environment, aware that you may come into contact with unwell or distressed patients.
• No previous experience as a Domestic Assistant is necessary; what matters most is pride in your work and a willingness to learn and go the extra mile for patients.
