Salary: £26,000.00 - £27,000.00 p.a (dependent on experience)

Employment Type: Full time (Monday - Friday)

Are you an experienced dog groomer or animal care specialist and looking for your next step in education, or to start a career in teaching?

An OFSTED rated Good FE College is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to lecture within dog grooming and animal care, teaching primarily for level 2 classes. Responsibilities
  • Deliver dog grooming and animal care up to a level 2 standard.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive and timely feedback to motivate and inspire.
  • Create SMART targets, record and monitor progress against them.
  • Implement positive interventions where needed.
  • Ensure high quality of provision, in response to learners' needs and in line with Professional Teaching Standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a level 3 in dog grooming or animal care.
  • A teaching qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience of teaching or at least 2+ years experience within the industry.
