  • Work with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centres of Excellence to integrate DEI into business planning, decision‑making, and talent processes.
  • Design and deliver impactful DEI programmes and learning that build capability and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.
  • Lead and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and inclusion networks, helping them deliver meaningful impact.
  • Drive DEI employee engagement through insight‑led activity, including surveys, listening sessions, and targeted action planning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR colleagues on DEI matters.
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships and represent Royal Mail in DEI forums and industry networks.
  • Ensure DEI activity aligns with legislation, internal policies, and best practice, working closely with Legal, Policy, and Compliance teams.
What we're looking for

  • Strong understanding of DEI frameworks, employment law, and inclusive HR practices.
  • Excellent programme management skills with the ability to balance strategy and delivery.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
  • A data‑informed approach, combined with empathy and a deep understanding of organisational culture.
  • A commitment to inclusion, equity, and fairness, and the ability to bring others with you on that journey.
