Job description
Overview

An exciting opportunity for District Nurses or Senior Community Nurses with 2 years’ experience in the community to join Integrated Teams in Redbridge. Registered Nurses (RN12‑NMC) will assess, manage, plan and deliver care while being professionally and legally accountable.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a geographically aligned Community Nursing Team, ensuring high standard nursing care to patients and families.
  • Provide individualised care to patients with a caseload, working within and across professional and organisational boundaries.
  • Deliver care in collaboration with GPs, statutory and voluntary agencies, supervising pre‑registration students.
  • Support peers and team leader, serving as an effective team member while working on own initiative.
  • Maintain leadership of the community nursing team without direct supervision.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN12‑NMC) with 2 years’ community nursing experience.
  • Band 6 Development Programme experience or willingness to commence the Band 6 Development Programme.
  • High‑Cost Area Supplement: 15% of basic salary (minimum £4,714, maximum £5,941), pro‑rata for part‑time staff.
  • Probationary period (internal applicants exempt unless a bank member or in the middle of an existing probation).
