Overview

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the entire operation of the optical department.
  • Lead and manage your team of Optometrists and Optical assistants.
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures.
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets while handling customer queries.
  • Manage clinic operations and the shop floor process to ensure the department meets customer needs.
  • Work in close partnership with an Optometrist and coach and develop your team.
  • Be organized and able to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
  • Confident in coaching others.
  • Able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets.
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment.
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively.
