Our store

Recently opened in April 2024, Specsavers Porthmadog is looking for a clinically driven Optometrist to join on a full or part-time basis. The focus at this store is on teamwork to ensure our valued patients have an excellent experience. You will have access to the latest equipment, including Nidek OCT and Nidek auto-phoropters. Our vision is to transform eye health in our community. Located in the picturesque harbour town of Porthmadog, known for its maritime history, shops, and restaurants, and nestled near Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula, you'll enjoy some of Wales' finest scenery.

We have a wonderful team ready to meet you. Our Dispensing Opticians are integral to our store team. Your clinical and retail expertise will be valuable, especially if you aspire to become a store director one day.
