Your opportunity

As the Digital Solutions Lead you’ll support the London digital team in keeping Janus Henderson’s public websites up to date. You’ll help ensure that content is accurate, timely and meets local regulations across different regions and languages. You’ll also assist in planning and improving website features and tools.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to deliver complex digital programs while acting as the subject matter expert of the CMS.

  • Team Leadership – Lead a team of digital professionals responsible for CMS administration, development and support. Engage directly in problem‑solving activities, especially when projects face technical challenges or roadblocks. Work alongside the team to brainstorm solutions leveraging both your managerial perspective and technical expertise.
  • Project Management – Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of digital projects which includes implementation of CMS features, upgrades and integrations. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the main point of contact for all digital project‑related communications. Communicate CMS capabilities, limitations and project status to stakeholders. Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and ensure consistent and clear communication across all levels of the organisation.
  • Quality Assurance and Risk Management – Implement quality control processes to ensure the output meets the required standards and objectives. Identify potential risks associated with digital projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Technology Oversight – Stay abreast of the latest digital technologies and industry trends. Make recommendations on new technologies that could enhance project outcomes or operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration with IT Departments – Work closely with the IT department to ensure CMS projects align with the broader IT strategy and infrastructure. This involves coordinating technology implementations, ensuring compatibility and integration with existing systems and addressing any technical issues that arise. Foster a collaborative environment between the digital delivery team and IT team to enhance efficiency and leverage cross‑functional expertise. Actively participate in agile meetings such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and reviews.
  • Performance Measurement – Develop and implement performance metrics to evaluate the success of digital projects and the productivity of the team. Use these insights to improve processes and outcomes continually.
  • Change Management – Lead change management initiatives associated with digital transformation efforts. Lead adoption of new CMS features and migrations.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills
  • Experience in a product management role and working with global teams.
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of production management technologies, timeline creation and workflow building tools (Workfront, Airtable, Jira).
  • Familiarity with marketing production processes and requirements.
  • Background using and administering content management systems: WordPress, etc.
  • Experience using process‑mapping tools: Lucidchart, Visio.
  • Aspiring leader equally comfortable working with production teams as senior leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and superb organisational skills.
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful, pragmatic and solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to view conflicts and issues from multiple perspectives and keep the big picture in focus to seek resolution.
Nice to have skills
