As part of their ambitious growth plan, they are seeking a seasoned Chartered Building Surveyor to join their senior leadership team as a Director. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the consultancy, drive growth, and play a pivotal role in scaling the business beyond its already impressive 30+ professionals.

Your Role as Director As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee complex professional mandates, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development. You will bring your expertise in building surveying to the forefront, ensuring the delivery of first-class services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

• Define and implement the strategic direction of the TDD and Project Monitoring division.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of surveyors and technical specialists to deliver industry-leading services.
• Collaborate with the board to align divisional goals with overall business objectives.

Technical Due Diligence

• Oversee and conduct detailed technical appraisals for acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing projects.
• Identify risks, liabilities, and potential value-add opportunities for client investments.
• Deliver comprehensive, actionable reports to high-profile clients.

Surveying

• Oversee complex building surveys, dilapidations, and condition assessments.
• Provide expert insights on building pathology, structural issues, and compliance.

Project Monitoring

• Lead project monitoring for major development and refurbishment schemes.
• Ensure projects adhere to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their investments are safeguarded.

Business Development

• Leverage your network to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Develop long-term relationships with developers, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the firm at industry events, fostering the brand's reputation as a market leader.
