Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track site performance and key insights.
- Analyze metrics and provide category deep dives as needed.
- Identify opportunities from weekly sales and recommend strategies to boost profitability.
Trading & Merchandising
- Trade the website by analyzing sales data, responding to trends, and recommending enhancements.
- Develop product assortment strategy aligned with global ecommerce goals.
- Oversee product uploads, ensuring timely launches with cross‑functional coordination.
Site Management & Presentation
- Ensure accurate product categorisation and merchandising for optimal sales and user experience.
- Update product detail pages to reflect strategy and launch calendar.
- Monitor inventory and adjust site merchandising in collaboration with warehouse and planning teams.
Pricing & Promotions
- Manage seasonal markdowns and price lists with timely updates.
- Maintain online price books and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Insights
- Produce ad‑hoc and monthly reports to extract actionable insights.
- Conduct web analytics reviews, optimising conversion through navigation, A/B testing, and promotions.
Customer Experience
- Monitor the customer journey and identify improvements to boost conversions.
- Collaborate with production teams on deliveries, photo shoots, and sample workflows.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with buying, merchandising, marketing, social, inventory, and customer service teams.
- Support global e‑commerce strategy across regions, currencies, and time zones.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an e‑commerce site merchandising role.
- Proven experience with CMS tools within an e‑commerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, Hybris, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in web analytics tools and BI systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Experience in managing product and category assortment within an e‑commerce setting.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and e‑commerce pricing strategies.
- Proven track record of building collaborative relationships across departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with global e‑commerce markets, working across multiple regions, currencies, and time zones.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Gantt charts.
- Experience in SQL and data extraction from web metrics tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- A commercially astute problem solver with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Self‑motivated and energetic, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
