Overview
Digital Marketing Architect – Docklands London. This is an exciting senior-level position to direct the online marketing strategy for a bank based in the Docklands, London.
You will be an expert in online digital marketing architecture as a Business Digital Architect with at least 7 to 10 years of experience at a senior level.
Our client is a bank that wants to engineer additional revenue streams from the large database of customers by upselling to them. You will work with stakeholders to devise a digital strategy and leverage multiple revenue streams they are looking to tap into, as a techno-functional architect who understands Realtime Ad Intelligence and uses this information with various CRM tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategy using digital marketing technology with aim to increase customer engagement and conversion.
- Advise on optimization strategies to increase the effectiveness of marketing.
- In-depth experience integrating components to deliver digital marketing solutions, including consumer databases, public-facing websites, consumer preference & activity tracking solutions, multi-device consumer targeting tools, consumer segmentation & analytics, and multi-channel consumer contact solutions (e-mail, SMS, mobile, etc.).
- Experience in creating solutions for targeted marketing to consumers via 3rd-party channels including social media.
- Articulate and define a compelling and holistic digital marketing strategy to support business growth and revenue targets.
- Marketing cloud knowledge with technologies like DMP platforms (Krux, BlueKai, etc.) and Ad Server technologies (OpenX, SAS Ad Server, Adobe T&T, etc.).
- Knowledge of various DMP data segments and providers available in the UK banking and financial domain.
- Business use case definition, experience with data onboarding solutions, mapping of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data and driving marketing audience segments and new business revenue opportunities.
- Develop and outline audience strategy recommendations to better understand the consumer base.
- Assess and evaluate current offerings within the DMP landscape, providing POVs on the data marketplace in the UK.
- Experience with inventory management platforms that overlay ad-serving systems or data-targeting platforms and ad delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver digital marketing solutions that meet business objectives.
Details
- Duration: 6 to 12 months.
- Rate: negotiable, circa £600 to £800 per day.

- Proven track record in digital marketing strategy, CRM integration, and data-driven audience targeting.
- Strong knowledge of DMPs, ad servers, and data onboarding in the UK banking/financial sector.
