Job description
About us

Knights is a listed, UK based legal and professional services business, operating from 32 locations nationwide.

For more than a decade, we have done things differently. In 2012, we established our platform as one of the first law firms to transition from a traditional partnership model to a corporate structure.

We work with a diverse range of clients, including global brands, FTSE 100 companies, private businesses, and individuals, to deliver professional services with speed, accessibility, and clear communication.

As Digital Manager, you will play a pivotal role in elevating Knights’ external digital presence and client experience.

Sitting within our Brand & Communications team, you will be responsible for shaping, delivering, and optimising our digital marketing strategy across all online channels. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on driving high‑quality engagement, supporting business growth, and ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and existing clients throughout their digital journeys.

We are looking for an experienced digital marketing professional with a proven track record in legal, professional services, or a similar sector. This role can be based out of either our Stoke or Manchester offices.

Key responsibilities
  • Digital strategy and leadership – leading our digital marketing strategy to help grow the business in a considered fashion that matches, and builds, our brand. You will be the go‑to expert on digital growth opportunities and performance.
  • Website management and UX – we’re refreshing our brand platform and need someone to oversee the development, optimisation, and performance of our website.
  • Customer platform integration – building on the website refresh, you will also lead the integration, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of a new customer platform (i.e. HubSpot).
  • Running digital campaigns – working with colleagues across Brand & Communications to develop and deliver high‑impact digital campaigns, including thought leadership, lead generation for key services lines, and recruitment priorities.
  • Data, analytics and reporting – you will own analytic and reporting across all digital channels to deliver continuous improvement and support business priorities and decisions.
What you will bring to the role

This role is ideally suited to someone who is well‑organised, proactive, and confident - someone who takes initiative, thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment, and takes pride in their work.

  • Digital marketing management experience – prior experience in a digital marketing management role within legal, professional services, or a similar relationship‑driven sector is essential.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles – from building and optimising user journeys and a grasp of UX, to conversion rate optimisation, content optimisation, and SEO.
  • CRM/customer platform experience – demonstrable experience implementing and/or managing a CRM or marketing automation platform (ideally HubSpot or equivalent).
  • Comfortable with data and analytics - experience using digital analytics tools (GA4 essential).
