As a Digital Engineering Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We have opportunities to work on a wide range of Digital Engineering projects, delivering structured digital information that supports the design, maintenance, and development of critical infrastructure for the Royal Navy’s submarine fleet. Responsibilities
- Creating and managing digital models using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Supporting model federation, clash detection, and 4D/5D simulations using Navisworks, Solibri, and Synchro.
- Applying Uniclass classifications and COBie data to meet project information requirements.
- Collaborating with engineering, design, and project teams to ensure digital outputs support coordination and delivery.
- Contributing to BIM Execution Plans, MIDPs, TIDPs, and digital delivery strategies.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering, construction, or a scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in BIM projects and structured digital delivery.
- Strong knowledge of BIM authoring platforms such as Revit.
- Familiarity with the UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650, COBie, and Uniclass.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in nuclear, defence, or similarly regulated sectors (desirable).
