A global technology leader seeks a Digital Energy Project Manager Apprentice in Bristol. This position offers extensive on-the-job training to support your development in project management. You will join a passionate team to support the successful delivery of projects that drive organisational growth and innovation.
As a Level 6 Project Manager Apprentice, you will learn to plan, coordinate, and manage resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. Through the duration of your programme you will grow professionally and personally, enabling you to bring fresh ideas, apply structured methodologies, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes.
During your apprenticeship, you will receive two different types of training.
‘On-the-job’ training will be delivered by Schneider Electric as your employer. You’ll receive training and supervision to help you perform the job you’ve been hired to do. This will include skills and knowledge that fall outside of the apprenticeship but are needed for the job role. As well as providing ‘on-the-job’ training, it is important that we support you in additional ways to ensure your success.
Types of support will include:
‘Off-the-job’ training is delivered by one of our carefully selected Training Providers during your normal working hours. You will spend at least 20% (average 6 hours per week) of your working hours completing ‘off-the-job’ training. This is protected time and is a requirement for apprenticeship delivery. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills, and behaviours set out in the apprenticeship standard so you can achieve occupational competence.
37.5 hours per week to be worked from Monday to Friday.
Exact start and finish times are to be agreed upon with Line Manager. Some of these hours will be allocated to off-the-job training as part of your Apprenticeship Programme.
5 GCSE's including Math’s, English and a STEM Subject grade C/4 or above or equivalent. A Levels BBC 112 UCAS Points must include Math’s (excluding General Studies) or BTEC DDM Extended Diploma with maths unit or T levels with core areas of specialisms consistent with engineering contents (Building Services engineering for construction, design and development for engineering and manufacturing, maintenance, installation and repair for engineering and manufacturing).
No pre-requisite experience required.
Please note that a full UK Driving License is essential for this position, though we will accept applications from those who are in the process of obtaining one (currently completing driving lessons). If your role is a ‘Travelling Appointment’ and so requires a vehicle, this will be provided by Schneider Electric.
