Digital Director / Chief Digital Officer - Contract

My industry-leading client is looking for a brand-new Cheif Digital Officerto join their amazing board on a contrat basis. This huge Ecommerce business has a solution-based product with ambitious growth plans for the year, aiming to become the international market leader.

You will play a pivotal role in increasing the effectiveness of the board and individual directors, both inside and outside the boardroom. You will ensure effective communication with the leadership team acting as a sounding board for the CEO. You will run a quarterly board meeting ensuring each member of the leadership team is accountable. You will support the chief executive and team always acting impartially, and ensuring decisions are made efficiently and effectively. You will review governance in the organisation to ensure that all decisions are in line with legal and regulatory requirements, sitting on grievance and appeal panels when necessary.

You will be independent, reflective, and thoughtful in your approach. You will have strong principles and be comfortable disagreeing with the group, with both a challenging and supportive approach to avoiding conflict ensuring successful communication and building strong relationships with the executive team. You will have a proven track record in this role ensuring invaluable guidance.
