Job summary

A major healthcare provider in the community is looking for a Dietetic Support Worker to join their team, focusing on providing nutritional care for tube-feeding patients. Home Tube Feeding Service – Band 3 Dietetic Support Worker (0.6wte)

Are you passionate about making a difference to people's lives?

We need a Dietetic Support Worker (DSW) to join our Home Management Services (UHBW). The role involves supporting Dietitians to deliver high quality nutritional care for tube‑feeding patients in the community, across all ages, and their carers.

Responsibilities
  • Support Dietitians in delivering nutrition and dietetic services for tube‑fed patients and their carers in the community.
  • Visit patients at home, schools and nursing homes, collecting and recording nutritional information, weighing and measuring.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage your own workload on a daily basis.
  • Attend team meetings and work from the Central Health Clinic office or from home.
  • Drive and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
