A leading tech consultancy is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance its Jenkins Shared Library and develop robust CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of engineering experience, specializing in CI/CD platforms with a strong emphasis on Python and Jenkins. This hybrid role allows work from Birmingham, Sheffield, or Edinburgh, featuring a competitive daily rate between £525 - £548. Ideal candidates have expertise in software supply-chain security and efficient pipeline management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' engineering experience, with 3+ years in CI/CD platform or DevSecOps roles.
• Expert knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy Shared Libraries.
• Strong Python automation skills (JSON/YAML processing, tooling scripts).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Jenkins Shared Library pipeline steps.
• Develop and extend Python tooling for SLSA provenance and SBOM generation.
• Optimise pipeline performance through parallelisation and caching.
• Ensure artifact integrity and reproducibility.
