Job summary

A regional police force in Birmingham is seeking a Detective Constable to join its Counter Terrorism Policing team. The successful candidate will gather intelligence, conduct investigations into terrorism-related offences, and participate in vital operational activities. Candidates must have proven investigative experience and be willing to work towards an ICIDP qualification. A flexible working pattern is required, including shift work.

Qualifications

• Proven investigatory experience including the criminal justice process.
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with exhibits.
• Ability to support a national CT Network requirement.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and developing intelligence as per the National Intelligence Model.
• Arresting and processing suspects for crimes and terrorism.
• Assisting with the criminal justice process, including court attendance.
